CAPE ELIZABETH – The Cape Business Alliance will host its first “Christmas on the Cape” from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. The event culminates in a community tree lighting at 7:15 at Key Bank, located in the Town Center.

Families of all ages are invited to participate in this kick-off to the holiday season.

Follow the scavenger hunt

Participants may start at any of the participating Cape Elizabeth businesses and pick up a children’s scavenger hunt entry form. Each participating business will offer a fun family activity. While at each business, be sure to have your child’s scavenger hunt form stamped. Completed scavenger hunt forms will be entered into a raffle at the end of the night and can be turned in at the Community Tree Lighting located at Key Bank at 7:15 p.m.

“Christmas on the Cape” coincides with Cape Elizabeth’s second Friday Art Walk. Artwork by Cape Elizabeth students will be on display at local businesses.
