Members of the Pihcintu Multinational Children’s Chorus give a spirited performance on Monday at Waynflete School in Portland, where they were videotaped for broadcast on NBC’s “Today Show.” Many of the girls in the chorus fled turmoil and violence in their home countries, by themselves or with their families. The young singers, ranging in age from 8 to 17, are originally from about a dozen nations.
