TOPSHAM — Corinne M. Melanson, 87, of Topsham passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on December 26,2011 at Cadigan Lodge at the Highlands in Topsham.

She was born on April 18, 1924 in Beverly, Massachusetts, the daughter of Harold and Marie Rogers. Corinne served as the bookkeeper for Melanson Brothers Construction and helped manage Friendship Motor in Old Orchard, both family businesses.

She enjoyed oil painting, needlepoint, gardening and spending time with her husband.

Corinne was predeceased by her husband Edward G. Melanson and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Shears of Colorado, granddaughter Kim Rocco and her husband Thomas of Massachu- setts. Also, brother and sister in- law John and Verna Melanson of Nova Scotia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place December 29th at 10am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Richmond. Interment will at the discretion of the family. A gathering will follow the Mass at the Railway Café in Richmond. Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home Richmond, Maine.
