TOPSHAM — Topsham Public Library, 25 Foreside Road, will host an exhibit titled “Joy of Art” from Tuesday through Feb. 18.

The library will hold a reception from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 14 in the Crooker Gallery to kick off the fourth annual juried art exhibit, which includes original artwork by year-round Maine residents, both amateur and professional. Refreshments will be served, and music will be provided by Bill and Kate Gray.

Prizes will be awarded in categories, including mixed media, oil/acrylic, other media, pastels and watercolor. Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite work for the People’s Choice prize, awarded at the close of the exhibit.
