TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighthgrade girls basketball team dropped a 40-27 loss to rival Bath on Wednesday.

Bath was led by Olympia Serben and Signe Ostergaard, while Erin Tome paced Mt. Ararat with 12 points.

Bre Hamilton and Sara Lamb chipped in six points each for Mt. Ararat, while Kayla Connors played well. Defensively, Rachel Eggleston had a team- high seven rebounds, while Alyssa Kidd picked up six steals for the Eagles.
