Just Once Guitar class starting

Bonny Eagle Adult Education has arranged for Don Pride to teach the popular Just Once Guitar for Busy Adults class 6:30-9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, at Bonny Eagle Middle School in Buxton.

The 21?2 -hour class will teach playing chords on the guitar so participants can play their favorite songs right away. The instruction book and DVD used in class enables students to keep practicing at home.

In class, Pride also discusses some of the common mistakes people make and the hurdles that prevent them from learning the guitar.

“You don’t need to know anything about music or the guitar to attend this class. Just Once Guitar for Busy Adults is designed for the absolute beginner and the emphasis is on fun, not technical perfection,” Cathy Walz, adult education director, said.

Those who want to attend should take an acoustic guitar. There is a $29 materials fee for a workbook and DVD to continue practicing at home, payable to the instructor in class.

For more information or to register for the class, call Bonny Eagle Adult Education at 929-9185, or register online www.sad6.maineadulted.org.
