BRUNSWICK

A 27- year- old man was charged with illegal possession of 30 different prescription pills after police responded to the Knights Inn on Pleasant Street last week to evict him for not paying his bill.

Brunswick patrol officers arrived at the hotel at 133 Pleasant St. early in the afternoon of Jan. 23 after management requested that police evict Munsey and his girlfriend, Brunswick Police Detective Rich Cutliffe said Friday.

They allegedly found Munsey in a room with 30 various illegal prescription pills, including hydrocodone, Vicodin, morphine, Adderall, lorazepam and Ritalin, as well as marijuana.

Munsey was charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and was released on unsecured bail, according to Cutliffe.

His girlfriend, who police declined to name, was not charged.
