Gravestones topic
at Buxton church
A Buxton resident will present a program at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, at North Buxton Congregational Church, Groveville, about rubbings of early gravestones.
Paul Baresel will present the historical talk about gravestone symbolism. Baresel, who has been a guest speaker at several historical societies in southern Maine, has donated many of his rubbings and books to the Association for Gravestone Studies in Greenfield, Mass.
