BRUNSWICK — Laurin Elizabeth Lemieux of Brunswick and Philip Francis Sweetman of Liverpool, England wish to announce their engagement.

Lemieux is the daughter of Dennis and Nancy Lemieux of Brunswick. She is a 2004 graduate of Brunswick High School, a 2008 graduate of Bates College and a 2011 graduate of Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is currently employed as a recruitment assistant at Liverpool Hope University in Liverpool.

Sweetman, the son of Philip John Sweetman and Constanza Gamez Garcia, is a 2006 graduate of Liverpool John Moores University and a 2009 graduate of Liverpool Hope University. He is currently a modern foreign language teacher at St. John Plessington Catholic College in Bebington, England.

Their wedding is planned for this summer.
