LISBON — The Lisbon School Department is accepting names for the public school pre-kindergarten program at Lisbon Community School. The program is open to children who will be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15, 2012.

Children are selected for attendance in the program by a lottery system. To register for the lottery, call Stephanie Doughty at 353-4132.

Parents or guardians must provide each child’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number( s), and parents’ names.

Class size is limited. Children who are not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list. All names must be on the list by April 5.

The lottery will be held on April 6. Parents will be notified of the lottery results by mail following the drawing.

Students in the pre-kindergarten program attend school Monday through Friday. The morning session runs from 8:25 a.m. to 11 a.m. The afternoon session runs from 12:30 p.m. until 3:05 p.m.

The Lisbon School Department provides transportation for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Families must provide transportation for the 11 a.m. pick-up and 12:30 p.m. drop-off.
