PRESQUE ISLE — It’s down to finalists from Maine, Wyoming and Colorado in the search for a new president at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

The three finalists are: Jon Connolly, vice president of academic affairs at Sheridan and Gillette Colleges in Sheridan, Wyo.; Linda Schott, dean of the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo.; and Michael Sonntag, provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

After the candidates meet with the college community, a finalist will be recommended to the university system trustees for approval.
