HENNIKER, N.H. — Greg McKillop scored four goals and distributed three assists to lead Colby to a 10-6 men’s lacrosse win over New England College on Monday.

The Pilgrims (0-4) scored the first three goals, including two from James Putney with less than a minute left in the first half.

Colby (2-1) scored twice in the final 15 seconds to narrow the margin to one at the break.

Colby scored six unanswered goals in the third quarter, including all four of McKillop’s goals.

 

ENDICOTT 15, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 6: Connor Prescott scored four goals to pace Endicott (2-3, 1-0 CCC) over the University of New Engand (4-3, 0-1), at Beverly, Mass.

The Nor’easters got three goals each from Dylan Thomas and Tyler Thomas.

BENEDICTINE 10, COLBY 6: Catcher Erica Pulford had two hits, three RBI and a run scored in Colby’s loss to Benedictine University (3-3) at Clermont, Fla.

Katie Graichen added three hits and two runs for the Mules (1-2).

ONEONTA STATE 6, COLBY 1: Lindsay Peterson drove in the lone run for Colby (1-3) in a loss to Oneonta State (1-2) at Clermont, Fla.

Peterson’s single drove in Erica Pulford, who had tripled.

HENDRIX COLLEGE 2, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 0: Freshman pitcher Lauren Whitby pitched a shutout for Hendrix College (5-5) against the University of New England (3-3) on the second day of the Gene Cusic Classic at Fort Myers, Fla.

Whitby struck out four and allowed three hits for her first collegiate victory.

Kelly Reid allowed seven hits and one earned run for the Nor’easters.

WISCONSIN-OSHKOSH 6, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 1: Julia Burns hit a three-run homer in the third inning to help Wisconsin-Oshkosh (5-2) defeat the University of New England (3-2) at Fort Myers, Fla.

UNE’s Ashley Gott doubled in the sixth inning to spoil a no-hitter for Julie Sweeney.

COLBY, ONEONTA STATE, SPLIT: Nate Sugarabaker pitched a four-hitter in Colby’s 4-2 win in the first game with Oneonta State at Fort Myers Fla.

The Mules (3-3) lost the second game, 5-2.

In the first game, John Schroeder had a two-run single in the second inning. Mike Mastrocola added an RBI single in the third and Jake Kramer knocked in the final run with a single in the sixth.

In the second game, Oneonta (3-2) scored four runs in the seventh, three unearned.

Colby’s Kevin Galvin contributed a double and an RBI single and one run scored.
