The University of Southern Maine women’s lacrosse team snapped its three-game losing skid Tuesday afternoon, defeating the Husson Eagles 20-6 in a nonconference game at Hannaford Field. Junior Samantha Purcell of Durham contributed two goals and two assists and Brunswick sophomore Jacki Kelly had two goals and six groundballs for the 3-3 Huskies. Southern Maine is scheduled to travel to St. Joseph’s College this afternoon (4:30 p.m.) and that game will be played at Memorial Field in Portland.
