SACO – A shed-garage was destroyed by fire tonight, officials said, and a firefighter suffered minor injuries.

The fire in the structure at 430 Buxton Road was reported shortly before 6 p.m., Saco fire officials said. It took about a half hour and help from the Biddeford, Buxton and Goodwins Mills fire departments to put it out, they said, and by that time the building was destroyed.

Fire officials estimated the loss at about $35,000. They said the cause is undetermined at this time.

A firefighter from Saco was taken to Southern Maine Medical Center with what an official said were minor injuries.
