Shots fired

On March 19, a North Street resident reported hearing gunshots. Police found shell casings by the river nearby, and took a report.

Prowler check

On March 24, a Locust Street resident called to report hearing what sounded like someone trying to break in. Police went to the residence, and found no sign of anyone outside.

On March 25, police checked on a vehicle pulled into the driveway of Vineyard Christian Church on Bridgton Road at 11:45 p.m. The driver was lost, and had pulled over to call for directions.

March 19

Jonpaul Fathallah Haddad, 25, of 18 Jackson St., Portland, charged with carrying a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, and driving without a license on Riverside Street.

Fredrick H. Wynn, 22, of 25A West Pleasant St., Westbrook, charged with speeding more than 30 mph over the speed limit, failing to stop for an officer, and driving without a license, at the corner of Spring Street and Eisenhower Drive.

March 20

Ashley Marie Brennan, 23, of 683 Main St., Apt. 1, Westbrook, charged with disorderly conduct (loud noise in a private place) on Main Street. Also arrested on the same charge was Michael W. Cosgriff, 25, of 683 Main St., Apt. 1.

Christopher M. Ciprian, 28, of 43 Hanover St., Apt. 3, Portland, charged with domestic violence assault, unlawful possession of drugs, and unlawful trafficking of drugs, on Bridgton Road.

Christopher L. Wenger, 33, of 993 Duck Pond Road, Westbrook, charged with terrorizing on Duck Pond Road.

March 21

Michael D. Payne, 41, of 66 Ring Landing Road, Casco, charged with driving under the influence at the corner of Main and Forest streets.

Jason R. Emmons, 37, of 483 Main St., Apt. 4, Westbrook, arrested on three warrants at Cumberland Farms on Main Street.

Andrew J. Warming, 22, of 136 Central St., Westbrook, charged with domestic violence terrorizing on Brown Street.

Travis D. Wakefield, 21, of 24 Lords Lane, Lyman, charged with violating conditions of release and burglary of a motor vehicle, at Shaw’s Supermarket on Main Street.

Susan D. Goodrich, 52, of 5 Wolfe Creek Drive, Windham, charged with driving under the influence, unlawful possession of drugs, and sale and use of drug paraphernalia, on Mechanic Street.

Jennifer J. Marr, 28, of 54 West St., Portland, arrested on a warrant at Riverbank Park on Main Street.

March 23

Daniel Fleming, 32, of 91 Central St., Apt. C, Westbrook, charged with domestic violence assault, terrorizing, driving after suspension for a prior conviction of driving under the influence, and driving under the influence with one prior conviction, on Seavey Street.

Sean Murphy, 29, of 7A Paradise Way, Gorham, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license with one prior conviction, at TD Bank on Main Street.

David W. Fleming, 27, of 97 Main St., Apt. 302, Sanford, charged with driving without a license, driving under the influence, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, and driving after suspension, at Woodlawn Cemetery, at the corner of Stroudwater and Forest streets.

Timothy Leigh Sanborn, 21, of 275 Spring St., Westbrook, arrested on a warrant on Main Street.

Martin N. Larsen, 26, of 384 River Road, Windham, charged with unlawful possession of drugs at the corner of Warren Avenue and Cumberland Street.

Amber Kittrell, 23, of 223 Brighton Ave., Portland, charged with two counts of unlawful possession of drugs and one count of violating conditions of release on Saco Street.

March 25

Matthew J. Dyer, 32, of 84 Seavey St., Westbrook, charged with domestic violence assault on Brown Street.

Sherry Lynn Nilsen, 34, of 312 St. John St., Apt. 54, Portland, charged with being a habitual motor vehicle offender, and unlawful possession of drugs, at CAP Quality Care on Delta Drive.

Richard Steeves, 26, of 475 Falmouth Road, Windham, arrested on a warrant and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, at the corner of Brown and North streets.

Summonses

March 15

Alexander L. Tompkins, 20, of 22 Sebasticook Drive, Clinton, and Thomas Christopher Tozier, 20, of 106 East MacArthur Circle, South Portland, were charged with one count each of discharging a firearm within city limits, at Springharbor Hospital on Andover Road. Police said they were doing target practice in a nearby field.

A 17-year-old was charged with aggravated assault on Prospect Street.

March 17

Curtis J. Smith, 23, of 180 Lovewell Pond Road, Fryeburg, charged with violating conditions of release at Pratt Abbott on Main Street.

A 17-year-old was charged with theft at Shaw’s Supermarket on Main Street.

March 18

Melissa A. DiPaolo, 39, of 281 Main St., Westbrook, charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license at the corner of Marrett and Main streets.

Virgil C. Buzzell, 57, of 87 Depot Road, Gray, charged with driving under the influence at the corner of Main Street and Larrabee Road.

Bryant L. Feyler, 34, of 266 Duck Pond Road, Westbrook, charged with disorderly conduct (fighting), on Church Street.

March 19

A 15-year-old was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon at the high school on Stroudwater Street. Police had no further information on the incident available.

March 20

A 13-year-old was charged with assault at the middle school on Stroudwater Street. Police had no further information on the incident available.

March 21

Kirk T. Williams, 21, of 5 Bishop St., Apt. 8, Portland, charged with driving without a license at the corner of Cumberland and Brown streets.
