BOOTHBAY HARBOR – The Maine Photography Show remains on view through May 5 at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, 1 Townsend Ave. Andre Gallant, a photographer, author and traveler, judged the show and selected 101 photographs for inclusion.

The show is divided in four categories: color, black and white, student and a themed category, abstract.

Winners are:

 

Best of show: Mason Philip Smith of Cape Elizabeth, for the color photograph “Ages Revealed.”

Color: Chris Bilodeau of Auburn, first place; Allan Spader of Cape Elizabeth, second place; Darlene Terry of Bristol, third place; Doug Coleman of Kennebunk, honorable mention.

Black and white: Moe Chen of Scarborough, first place; Betsy Headley of Belfast, second place; Charles L. Dufour of Belfast, third place; Beth Anne Gordley of Belfast, honorable mention.

Abstract: Richard Veit of South Portland, first place; Scott Grant of Wells, second place; Dave Dostie of Sabattus, third place; Ella Hudson of Portland, honorable mention.

Student: L. E. Dimond of Topsham, first place; Gwenyth Pasch of Boothbay, second place; Laura Ramage of Freeport, third place; Elena Laustsen of Rockland, honorable mention.

The show is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday to Sunday. Admission is free. For information, call 633-2703.
