GRAY – Andrew Emple had three hits, including a home run, as unbeaten Falmouth rolled to a 6-0 victory against Gray-New Gloucester in a Western Maine Conference baseball game Wednesday.

Emple hit a two-run homer in the seventh and an RBI double in the fifth.

Will D’Agostino hit a bases-loaded triple in the first.

Left fielder Addison Foltmer of Falmouth (4-0) made a leaping grab of a liner to stop a rally in the second inning.

Kevin Cavallaro had two hits for the Patriots (2-3).

GREELY 9, WELLS 1: The Rangers (4-1) broke it open with five unearned runs on four throwing errors in the fourth inning against the Warriors (4-2) at Wells.

William McAdoo hit a double and a triple, and Mike Leeman had a single and a triple for the Rangers. Bailey Train was the winning pitcher.

BIDDEFORD 1, PORTLAND 0: Taylor Reuillard homered in the first inning, and Bobby Cote struck out six with two walks in a five-hitter to lead the Tigers (2-3) past Portland (0-5) at Biddeford.

Ryan Dixon struck out three, walked none and allowed four hits, and Nick Volger had three hits and two stolen bases for the Bulldogs.

WINDHAM 7, KENNEBUNK 1: Mitchell Hodge had two hits and an RBI to help the Eagles (3-2) beat the Rams (0-5) at Windham.

Jack Herzig and MacGyver Poulin also hit key RBI singles for Windham. Joe Francouer struck out five in five innings for the win.

HALL-DALE 12, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Taylor Lockhart pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts to lead the Bulldogs (4-1) past Boothbay Region (0-4) in a five-inning game at Hallowell.

CHEVERUS 9, MASSABESIC 1: Harry Ridge and Mitchell Powers combined on a three-hitter for the Stags (4-1) against Massabesic (2-3) at Portland.

Chris Tinsman’s homer gave Cheverus a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Drew Ferrick and Ryan Casale hit RBI doubles during a five-run fifth.

WISCASSET 2, ST. DOMINIC 1: With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and the count full, James Andretta fouled off four pitches before driving in Brandon Bailey with a single as the Wolverines (3-2) edged the Saints (5-2) at Wiscasset.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 8, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Kirk Hubbard hit a two-run triple in the first inning to spark the Raiders (4-2) against the Hawks (1-4) at Fryeburg.

WESTBROOK 3, SANFORD 1: Joe Dvilinsky pitched out of several jams for the win for the Blue Blazes (5-0) against the Redskins (2-3) at Westbrook.

Dvilinsky, who allowed an unearned run in the second inning, got out of two-runner situations in the first and second, and a bases-loaded jam in the sixth.

WAYNFLETE 5, LAKE REGION 1: Luke Jeton’s two-out, two-run single keyed a three-run third inning as the Flyers (3-2) took a 3-1 lead over Lake Region (0-5) in Portland. Nik Morrill fanned seven in the win.

FREEPORT 6, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 5: Dan Burke hit a three-run homer in the third inning and the Falcons (5-0) held off the Seagulls (2-4) at Freeport.
