SPRINGVALE — Republican congressional candidate Jon Courtney will make a series of appearances today through southern Maine.
The Maine Senate majority leader is trying to unseat incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree in Maine’s 1st congressional district. The Springvale resident faces a Republican primary challenge by Patrick Calder of Portland.
Today’s events will be at Sanford’s Central Park at 8 a.m.; Biddeford’s Mechanics Park at 9:30 a.m.; Portland’s Deering Oaks Park at 11 a.m.; Wiscasset Town Hall at 1:15 p.m.; and Waterville’s Old Post Office at 3:30 p.m.
