OAKLAND — Two 911 hang-up calls led to underage drinking charges against five people early Sunday morning.

When officers responded to the emergency calls at 1:15 a.m., an underage drinking party was under way at 81 East Pond Road, said Oakland police Detective Tracey Frost.

Garrett J. Place, 19, who lives at the residence, was summonsed on charges of violation of bail, furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol by consumption by a minor, Frost said.

Place was taken to a hospital for evaluation, Frost said, adding that he thought the 911 calls were made by partygoers worried about Place’s condition.

Dylan Veilleux, 18, of Oakland, and Patrick Bond, 18, of 53 Pheasant Run Road, Belgrade, were each summonsed on a charge of possession of alcohol by consumption by a minor, according to the police report, as was a 17-year-old boy from Freedom.

After a follow-up interview Monday morning, Frost said Barry Davis, 61, of Oakland, was summonsed on a charge of furnishing liquor to minors.

Monday afternoon, Frost said he was seeking information about several people who fled into the woods when police arrived at the residence.
