In my mind the concept of “term limits” is a good one. It’s designed to open up political office to new people with fresh ideas. If a current office holder is termed out and takes off several years, they’ve met the standard. If someone is termed out on the School Board and immediately runs for Town Council, in my opinion, they’re circumventing the process of term limits and committing a disservice to the town.  We have plenty of good candidates running. Let’s give some of them a chance.
