I am writing in support of Karen Faber for Falmouth Town Council. I met Karen while attending a middle school PTO meeting. I was impressed with Karen’s dedication to the community. As with many first impressions, my assessment was right on. She served on our School Board, the Comprehensive Planning Advisory Committee, and the Advisory Committee for Falmouth’s new elementary school. She focused on being environmentally responsible, leading the effort to convert our heating for the middle school and the elementary school to a wood-chip boiler, while being fiscally conservative, thus saving $40,000 during it’s first year in heating costs.

Karen is an engaging and enthusiastic member of our community. When Karen mentioned that she was planning to run for Town Council, all I could say was thank you; we’re so lucky to have you as part of our community. I encourage you to vote for Karen on June 12.
