YARMOUTH — Sadie Cole and Walker Foehl scored five goals each Tueday to lead Waynflete to a 16-7 victory against North Yarmouth Academy in schoolgirl lacrosse.

The Flyers (9-0) held a three-goal halftime lead, then outscored the Panthers 9-3 in the second half.

Olivia Madore led NYA (0-8) with four goals.

 

YARMOUTH 17, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Erica Pierce and Julie Kameisha each had three goals as the Clippers (4-5) handled the Raiders (1-7) at Yarmouth.

Grace O’Donnell had two goals and four assists, and Jordan Brown stopped four shots for Yarmouth.

Kendra Fox scored both goals for Fryeburg.

 

BRUNSWICK 15, MORSE 6: Dakota Foster had five goals and two assists to lead the Dragons (7-0) over Morse (4-4) at Brunswick.

Suzannah Smith and Annie Kelly added two goals each for Brunswick. Lauren Crosby paced the Shipbuilders with two goals and one assist.

 

FALMOUTH 19, YORK 8: Megan Fortier and Vanessa Audet each had four goals, and Geneva Waite and Angela Mallis added three apiece for the Yachtsmen (7-1) against the Wildcats (3-4) at Falmouth.

Alta Farrell stopped four shots for Falmouth.

Ruby Cribby, Taylor Simpson and Courtney Cole each had two goals, and Amanda Kasbohm made 19 saves for York.

 

CONY 10, MT. ARARAT 9: Bayleigh Logan, Mia Diplock and Chelsea Begin scored three goals each to lead Cony (5-0) over Mt. Ararat (3-5) at Augusta.

Rowley Jones had three goals for Mt. Ararat.

GREELY 12, WELLS 3: Audrey Parolin had two goals and two assists, and Etta Copenhagen and Paige Tuller scored three goals each to lead the Rangers (3-5) past the Warriors (4-4) at Cumberland.

Jasmine Loukala scored twice and Kelly Beisswanger added a goal for Wells.

Julia Mitiguy had two goals and an assist for Greely.

 

SOUTH PORTLAND 13, MCAULEY 9: Lani Edwards had five goals and Lily SanGiovanni made 11 saves as the Red Riots (5-3) topped the Lions (1-6) at South Portland.

Ericka Lightner and Anh Nguyen each had three goals for the Riots.

Sadie DiPierro led the Lions with three goals, followed by Sam Paglio and Clare McLaughlin with two apiece. Jamie LaCasse made 15 saves.

 

MESSALONSKEE 8, GARDINER 7: Messalonskee (5-3) used three goals late in the game to take the lead, then held off the Tigers (1-7) at Gardiner.

The Eagles overcame an early 2-0 deficit to take a 4-3 lead at the half, then went on a late 3-0 run to take an 8-6 lead. Ally Day, who had six goals for Gardiner, made it 8-7 with 1:30 left.

Sydney Gagne led the Eagles with three goals, Katie Bernatchez scored two, and Mara Balboni, Sara Grenier and Haley Pelletier had one apiece. Elizabeth Skinner made four saves.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 7, FALMOUTH 0: Maddie Pearson had four hits and three RBI, and Sarah Harriman pitched a six-hitter with six strikeouts as the Raiders (9-1) handled the Yachtsmen (5-5) at Falmouth.

Maggie McConkey had two hits with four RBI.

Ally Carver and Alyse Bazinet each had two hits for Falmouth.

 

MCAULEY 4, PORTLAND 2: Taylor Whaley struck out nine, walked one and scattered seven hits to help visiting McAuley (5-6) beat the Bulldogs (1-9) at Portland.

Whaley also knocked in two runs, and Molly Mack and Sam Libby drove in one run apiece.

Anna Evans had three hits and scored both Portland runs.

 

RICHMOND 14, BUCKFIELD 1: Leandra Martin pitched a six-hitter for Richmond (9-0), which totaled 17 hits against the Bucks (4-5) at Buckfield.

 

POLAND 16, SACOPEE VALLEY 4: Brittina Maheux had four hits, including two two-run homers, and five RBI for the Knights (6-5), who scored nine runs in the seventh inning against the Hawks (5-5) at South Hiram.

Katie Love had three singles, and Paige Brousseau and Katrina Seeley added two apiece for Poland.

Melissa Mayhew had two hits and an RBI for the Hawks.

 

WESTBROOK 7, MARSHWOOD 6: Relief pitcher Kayla Tibbetts struck out five in five innings as the Blue Blazes (5-5) beat Marshwood (4-6) at Westbrook.

Tibbetts gave up eight hits and walked one.

Sammie Crossman of Marshwood went 3 for 3 with two doubles and three RBI.

CAPE ELIZABETH 27, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Emma O’Rourke drove in four runs to lead the Capers (6-3) in a five-inning victory against Traip Academy (0-6) at Cape Elizabeth.

Ashley Tinsman, Mary Perkins, Hannah Saturley, Kate Rabasca and Shannon Nichols all had three RBI.

Rabasca was the winning pitcher, giving up two hits with four strikeouts and four walks.

 

MEDOMAK VALLEY 3, MARANACOOK 0: Desiree Benner pitched a two-hit shutout to lift Medomak Valley (10-1) over Maranacook (8-4) at Waldoboro.

Benner struck out 12 and walked one.

Sara Boynton of the Black Bears struck out 11, walked two and allowed four hits. Dani Hunt and Maria Ennamorati drove in runs for Medomak.
