BRUNSWICK – A boat fire at a marina has injured one person, fire officials say.

The fire was reported about noon on board a boat that had just been fueled, said Fire Capt. Randall Hamilton.

Hamilton said the boat was reported to be 25 feet long, but he didn’t know if it was a commercial boat or a pleasure boat.

One person suffered burns, Hamilton said, and was taken to Midcoast Hospital, but he didn’t know the extent of the injuries.

Hamilton said officials don’t yet know what caused the fire and the state Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to investigate.
