To the editor:

I am a resident of Bath, a senior and a grandfather.

I have known Jennifer DeChant through several election cycles and heartily endorse her candidacy in House District 62 to fellow Democrats.

She is a worthy candidate, having worked on behalf of the people of Bath, Sagadahoc County and Maine in several capacities.

Although Jennifer is not as old as I am and has not been here as long as I have, she has much more experience with government than I do. I would feel well represented to have her as a Democrat state representative.

Jennifer is a good Democrat with progressive views on seniors’ issues and education, to mention only two issues important to us.
