MANCHESTER, N.H. — A New Hampshire diner that’s a fixture on the presidential campaign circuit is being recreated in a film with native son Adam Sandler.

The Red Arrow Diner, which has a burger named after Sandler, is depicted in the movie “Grownups 2.” It’s currently being filmed in Massachusetts.

WMUR-TV reports several staff members from the real diner, which has locations in Manchester and Milford, got the chance to go to Massachusetts on Tuesday to watch the filming of a scene inside the diner on the set.

The diner was recreated inside a toy shop on the Marblehead set, something Red Arrow owner Carol Sheehan said was surreal when she saw it for the first time. She said it has the same awnings and logos, and the menus are in the windows.
