RANGELEY — The Maine Warden Service says an 82-year-old man drowned while swimming off the end of his dock at his summer home on a lake in Rangeley.
John MacDonald of the Warden Service says Anthony Schulte of New York City did not surface from Cupsuptic Lake on Sunday. His wife, Elizabeth Schulte, witnessed the incident and called 911.
A boater saw Schulte in about 15 feet of water. Rescue personnel brought him to shore and started CPR on him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
