BANGOR — Gov. Paul LePage is taking his crusade against domestic violence to a job corps center in Bangor.

LePage plans to meet with Penobscot Job Corps students today after touring their welding and woodworking shops.

The governor will discuss his personal experiences with domestic violence and take questions from students. The students will also learn about resources available and why it’s important for men to be part of the solution to end domestic violence.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program for young people. It’s administered by the U.S. Department of Labor.

LePage took his campaign against domestic violence to Cheverus High School in Portland in May.
