YARMOUTH – Connor Dietrich hit a three-run triple during a five-run second inning Saturday as OA-Yarmouth completed a doubleheader sweep of Bristol Seafood with a 5-0 victory in the second game of an American Legion baseball doubleheader.

OA-Yarmouth scored three runs in the ninth to rally to an 8-7 victory in the opener.

In the second game, Chester Jacobs struck out five and walked one in a two-hitter for OA-Yarmouth (4-1) against Bristol Seafood (0-5).

In the opener, Tom Sullivan went 3 for 5 with a double, three runs and two stolen bases for OA-Yarmouth.

Nick DiBiase totaled five hits, including two doubles, for Bristol Seafood.

FIRST TITLE, LIBBY-MITCHELL SPLIT: Ethan Jordan and Nic Lops each collected three hits and two RBI, and Mitchell Powers closed the game with three hitless innings of relief for First Title (2-3), which raced to a four-run lead and held on for a 10-8 victory against Libby-Mitchell (2-2) in the opener at Portland.

Nick Bagley had two hits and three RBI for Libby-Mitchell.

Libby-Mitchell won the second game 3-2 on a combined two-hitter by Jayme Lappin and Zach Culver. Sam Terry hit a two-run single in the fourth inning, and Sam Kozlowski had two hits and scored twice for Libby-Mitchell.

FALMOUTH SWEEPS MOODY’S: Falmouth (3-0) used four runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-4 victory in the second game of a doubleheader against Moody’s (2-2) at Gorham.

Falmouth won the first game, 5-3.

SACO BAY PHYSICAL THERAPY SWEEPS BONANZA: Chris Cole went 5 for 8 with two home runs and eight RBI to lead Saco Bay Physical Therapy (4-1) to 10-4 and 11-5 wins over Bonanza (1-4) in a doubleheader at York.

Paul McDonough homered in each game and Anthony Scia-done was 4 for 5 with two RBI for Saco Bay in the second game.

SOUTH PORTLAND, WESTBROOK SPLIT: Kyle Schumacher hit a two-run triple in a four-run second inning to lead Westbrook (2-3) to an 8-2 win over visiting South Portland (3-2) in the opener.

Brendan Horton had two hits and drove in three runs in the second game for South Portland, which scored 11 runs in the first inning and won 16-1 in five.

CUMBERLAND SWEEPS ANDREWS: Pete Stauber went 3 for 3 with two RBI in the opener and pitched a two-hitter in the second game to help Cumberland take 12-8 and 7-1 victories against Andrews at Portland.

Bailey Train hit a go-ahead two-run double in the first game as Cumberland’s four runs in the sixth made the difference.

In the second game, Stauber struck out seven and walked four, and Cumberland scored three in the fifth and four in the sixth.

CUMBERLAND 6, SOMERSET 4: Tom Buchholz hit a two-run double and Corey Brink added an RBI single to spark a four-run third inning for Cumberland (3-1), which held off visiting Somerset (1-3).

BRUNO’S 22, LIBBY-MITCHELL 2: Charles Barnard and Nick DiPalma each had three hits and three RBI to lead Bruno’s at Scarborough.

YARMOUTH, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER SPLIT: Nick Lainey pitched a three-hitter and hit an RBI single in a two-run fifth that helped Yarmouth (3-2) beat Gray-New Gloucester (2-1) 6-2 in the opener at Gray.

In the second game, Gray-New Gloucester won 7-6 with a two-run seventh, capped by a walk-off single by J.T. Magno.

LEWISTON SWEEPS STANDISH: Mike Wong struck out 10 in 51/3 innings of one-hit, one-run ball to lead Lewiston (4-1) to a 9-2 win in the opener at home. Lewiston took the second game, 8-3. Max Solevsky had two RBI for Standish.

WINDHAM, FALMOUTH SPLIT: Ryan Mucci and Nolan Nelson hit two-run singles in an eight-run first to lead Falmouth (2-1) to a 10-6 win over Windham (2-4) in the opener at Falmouth.

In the late game, Jack Butts hit an RBI double and Dan Hanson an RBI single in a four-run fourth as Windham won, 7-4.
