• Emily Getchell, Anne Waloven and Brandon Cohen joined Norton Insurance & Financial Services, specialists in business insurance and employee benefits.

Getchell, of Portland, was hired as a securities account manager.

Ge•ecently served as assistant portfolio manager at Ram Trust Services.

Waloven, of Yarmouth, joined Norton Insurance as a human resources generalist.

Waloven most recently served as payroll and benefits administrator at the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine.

Cohen, of Portland, was hired as an employee benefits producer. Cohen most recently worked with Assurant Employee Benefits in New York City as a group sales representative.

Jamie Brennan and Joshua Clark joined BerryDunn.

Brennan was hired as a consultant for BerryDunn’s government consulting group. Brennan previously worked for the office of Sen. Susan Collins as a staff assistant.

Clark joined BerryDunn as a consultant in the firm’s management information technology group. Clark will specialize in the health care and information technology sectors.

Jim Coyle joined Gowen Power Systems in Portland as a sales and service administrator.

Coyle has 26 years’ experience in the alarm industry.

Wade Goldthwait joined Gowen Marine in Portland as a service writer. He also works at the parts counter.

Goldthwait formerly worked in the marine trades and owned his own business.

Michael McCluskey, Victoria Wlodarczyk and Abigail Atcheson joined SeniorsPlus in Lewiston.

McCluskey was hired as manager of accounts receivable, contracts and reimbursements. He has more than 29 years’ experience in the health care field.

Wlodarczyk was named a MaineCare biller.

Atcheson was hired as a care coordinator in Aroostook County.

PROMOTIONS

• Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution promoted three of its loan department employees: Wanda Chelate, Kendra Bouffard and Sandy Legendre. It also promoted Gerri Richards and Michele Tanguay.

Chelate, of Saco, was promoted to a loan closing supervisor. Chelate joined the bank in 2000 as a loan processor in the residential loan department.

Bouffard, of Biddeford, was promoted to a senior loan processor. She joined the bank in 2005 as a teller at the Old Orchard Beach branch.

Legendre, of Saco, was named a senior loan closer. Legendre joined the bank in 1997 and has been with the loan department since 1998.

Richards, of Westbrook, was promoted to head teller at its Westbrook branch. Richards joined the bank in 2010 as a teller.

Tanguay, of Saco, was promoted to a business portfolio assistant for SBSI’s business services department. She joined the bank in 2010 as a customer service representative.

Jen McNally was named director of admissions and marketing at Friends School of Portland. She has an extensive background in marketing and has served as the school’s marketing coordinator since March 2011.

• Westbrook-based Planet Botanicals, a line of plant-based, USDA-certified organic and all-natural skin-care products, was featured in the August issue of Lucky Magazine.

Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill celebrated its 50-year anniversary last month. It has served central Aroostook since 1962.
