FALMOUTH – Lucy Fowler scored with 5:30 left in the first overtime Thursday to give Lake Region a 1-0 victory against Falmouth in a Western Maine Conference field hockey game.

Meghan VanLoan made two saves to record the shutout for the Lakers (3-0). Hillary Nash finished with four saves for Falmouth (3-1).

TRAIP ACADEMY 6, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Kaylie Andrews scored three goals and Sarah Noble added two as the Rangers (2-0) shut out the Hawks (1-2) at Kittery.

Chloe Ronco made 10 saves for Sacopee.

WINSLOW 6, MT. VIEW 1: Alli Leclair had a goal and an assist for the Raiders (3-0), who pulled away from the Mustangs (1-2) in the second half at Thorndike.

Sarah Wibles, Mackenzie Winslow, Ciera Poulin and Bethany Winkins also scored for Winslow, which led 2-1 at halftime.

BELFAST 5, WATERVILLE 1: Maddie Cummings and Logan Blood scored two goals apiece as the Lions (3-0) downed the Panthers (1-2) at Belfast.

Cummings also had one assist and Lexi Nelligan added two for Belfast.

MT. ARARAT 4, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Caitlin LaFountain scored twice, and Micaela Mitchell and Carly Raymond added one goal apiece as the Eagles (1-2) shut out the Red Eddies (0-2) at Auburn.

Tayler Pare made nine saves to record the shutout. Amanda Williams finished with 24 saves for Edward Little.

NOKOMIS 6, MARANACOOK 0: Taylor Lovely finished with three goals, Abbi Donaldson scored twice, and Drew Graves added a goal and two assists as the Warriors (2-1) downed the Black Bears (0-2) at Readfield.

YORK 2, GREELY 1: Kathleen Cronin and Taylor Simpson scored less than six minutes apart in the final eight minutes of the first half, and the Wildcats (3-1) held off the Rangers (0-3) at York.

Simpson and Tori Stocks assisted on the goal by Cronin, and Madeline Leroux assisted on Simpson’s goal.

The Rangers pulled within 2-1 when Rachel Hanson scored off a scramble in front with 11:30 left in the game.

Amanda Kasbohm finished with four saves for York. Leah Dixon stopped six shots for Greely.

LAWRENCE 6, BRUNSWICK 0: Dominique Lewis had two goals and an assist, and Kapriece Dahms scored twice as Lawrence (2-1) defeated the Dragons (0-2) at Fairfield.

Also scoring were Alexis Chamberlain and Taylor Watson, who added an assist. Chelsea Ballard and Bethany Rioux also had assists.

Emily Tozier needed one save for the shutout. Jordan Van Savage made 14 saves for Brunswick.

SOCCER

POLAND 4, WELLS 1: Emma Turton collected three goals and Sarah Bolduc scored once as the Knights won an opener at Wells.

Sophie Lamb scored for Wells in the second half from Amanda Deshaies.

Haley Whitworth made 12 saves for Poland and Kaitlyn Tufts finished with 20 for Wells.

DEERING 3, PORTLAND 1: Alexis Elowitch had a goal and two assists for the Rams (3-0), who scored three times in the second half against the visiting Bulldogs (1-2) at Portland.

Elowitch opened the scoring eight minutes into the second half off a corner kick from Samantha Sivovlos. Cole Spike and Meaghan Wells each added a goal less than 10 minutes later.

Sophie Hulbert scored and Mashale Nabi made 12 saves for Portland.

OAK HILL 2, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: Alyssa Rouleau had a goal and an assist to lead the Raiders (3-0) over the Falcons (0-3) at Wales.

Gabby Green also scored and Kelsey Collins made seven saves for Oak Hill.

YARMOUTH 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Gina Robertson had eight kills and Kate Myers scored 20 service points as the Clippers (2-0) beat the Capers (0-3) at Yarmouth. Maddy Mairhofer added 12 digs.

FALMOUTH 3, CONY 0: Danielle Li finished with 15 service points and five aces as the Yachtsmen (2-1) downed the Rams (0-1) at Falmouth.

GORHAM 3, WINDHAM 0: Kaitlyn Seehusen had six aces, three blocks and scored 15 points as the Rams (3-0) beat the Eagles (1-2) at Gorham.

MacKenzie Bowers added seven aces, three blocks and 13 points for Gorham.
