Marc Aaron Butler, 65, of Arlington, Mass. and a former resident of Sanford, died Sept. 5 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Mass., after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Sanford Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Westview Drive, Sanford. William M. Irons, 77, of Hayesville, N.C., died on March 8, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in West Kennebunk.
