WORCESTER, Mass. – Cassidy Svetek scored three goals as the University of Maine routed Holy Cross 6-0 in a field hockey game Saturday.

Annabelle Hamilton, Zoe Adkins and Hannah Keating each added a goal for Maine (4-4).

Hamilton started the scoring 8:35 into the contest, converting a rebound after a penalty corner. Svetek scored the next three goals to build the lead to 4-0 at halftime.

Maine goalie Alicia Frisch made four saves.

UNE 7, WESTERN NEW ENGLAND 1: Casey Clark scored three goals to spark the Nor’easters (3-2, 1-0 Commonwealth Coast) past the Golden Bears (2-3, 0-1) at Biddeford.

Brittany Liptak added a pair of goals, and Hayley LaPointe and Kayla Lambert had a goal apiece for UNE, which trailed 1-0 at the half.

BOWDOIN 2, WELLESLEY 0: Cathleen Smith and Brooke Phinney scored to lift the Polar Bears (3-0) over Wellesley (4-1) in Brunswick.

Bowdoin held a 30-0 advantage in shots and 16-0 edge in corners.

BRIDGEWATER 8, SOUTHERN MAINE 3: Beth Phillips scored three goals to lead the Bears (5-0, 2-0 Little East) over the Huskies (4-2, 1-1) at Gorham.

Peyton Dostie scored her team leading sixth goal for USM.

AMHERST 3, BATES 2: Madeline Tank banged in the rebound of Krista Zsitvay’s shot with 8:51 left to give the Lord Jeffs (3-0, 1-0 NESCAC) a win over the Bobcats (1-2, 0-2) in Lewiston.

Bridget Meedzan sandwiched a pair of goals around one by Zsitvay for a 2-1 Bates lead at the half. Ellie Andersen tied it early in the second half.

Becca Otley had 21 saves for Bates.

MIDDLEBURY 4, COLBY 0: Catherine Fowler and Lauren Greer each had a goal and an assist for the Panthers (3-0, 2-0 NESCAC) in a win over the Mules (0-2, 0-2) at Waterville.

BOWDOIN 2, BRANDEIS 1: Mary Popolizio one-timed a cross from Jennifer Hofstetter with five minutes left to give the Polar Bears (4-0) a 2-0 lead against the Judges (5-1) at Waltham, Mass.

Bowdoin went ahead in the closing moments of the first half. Kathleen Smith fed Audrey Phillips at the right side of the 18-yard box, and Phillips lofted a high shot that went over the outstretched arms of goalie Francine Kofinas and under the crossbar.

Bridget McCarthy had seven saves for Bowdoin.

UNE 1, WESTERN NEW ENGLAND 0: Kristin Dechene scored in the 73rd minute to give the Nor’easters (3-4, 1-0 Commonwealth Coast) a win over the Golden Bears (3-4-1, 0-1) at Springfield, Mass.

Margaret Palmer assisted on the goal with a long pass.

Gina Iannazzi turned away seven shots for UNE.

MIDDLEBURY 3, COLBY 0: Rachel Madding, Hannah Robinson and Ali Omsberg collected a goal apiece for the Panthers (3-0) in a victory over the Mules (2-1) at Waterville.

ST. JOSEPH’S 2, MOUNT IDA 1: Ralph Houanche’s goal 5:34 into overtime lifted the Monks (2-4-1, 1-2 GNAC) over the Mustangs (1-3-1, 1-2) at Newton, Mass.

Teddy Palmer tied the game for the Monks with an unassisted goal 18 minutes into the second half.

WESTERN CONNECTICUT STATE 1, SOUTHERN MAINE 0: Gabriel Goja took advantage of a miscue in the Southern Maine backfield and scored from 12 yards late in the first half as the Colonials (1-3-1, 1-0 Little East) beat the Huskies (1-5, 0-1) in Gorham.

Jack Holub made four saves for the shutout. USM’s Jeremy Turner finished with two saves.

BOWDOIN 6, UMAINE-FARMINGTON 0: Michael Gale scored two second half-goals as the Polar Bears (2-1) completed a victory over the Beavers (1-3) in Brunswick.

AMHERST 2, BATES 0: Federico Sucre assisted Jae Heo in the 53rd minute, then added a tally in the 78th minute to lead the Lord Jeffs (3-0, 1-0 NESCAC) over the Bobcats (1-2, 0-2) in Lewiston.

MIDDLEBURY 1, COLBY 0: Alvand Hajzadeh headed home a shot 39 seconds into overtime, giving the Panthers (2-1, 1-1 NESCAC) a win over the Mules (0-2-1, 0-1-1) in Waterville.
