PORTLAND – Caroline L’Heureux scored two goals Saturday to lead Sanford to a 3-1 victory against Deering in a Southwestern Maine Activities Association field hockey game.

Janelle Cannon also scored for Sanford (3-3). Kylie Patchell had the goal for Deering (5-2).

Sarah Goldthwaite had five saves for Sanford. Bri Delano stopped 17 shots for Deering.

MT. ARARAT 2, CONY 1: Caitlin LaFountain poked home a shot with 12:25 left to break a 1-1 tie as the Eagles (4-2) beat Cony (2-3-1) at Topsham.

Arika Brochu gave the Rams a 1-0 lead midway through the first half, but Micaela Mitchell tied it with 14:21 left.

Taylor Pare made five saves for Mt. Ararat. Kevie Rodrigue had 15 for Cony.

BELFAST 6, ERSKINE ACADEMY 0: Maddy Cum-mings scored three goals and Logan Blood added two as the Lions (7-0) beat the Eagles (0-6) at South China.

Katrina Lapham also scored.

Julia Ward of Belfast stopped five shots. Lexie Soucy of Erskine had 18 saves.

GORHAM 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Gabby Martell scored off a corner from Charlotte Smith with 42 seconds left in overtime to lift the Rams (4-3) over the Red Riots (1-5) at Gorham.

Smith found Martell for the first goal with 5:43 remaining in regulation. Courtney Pelkey answered from Kailey Hannigan with 1:07 left.

Patty Smith of Gorham had eight saves. Lani Edwards of South Portland made 13 stops.

MASSABESIC 1, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Hannah Patch provided the only goal in a game that was played between the 25s, converting Bailey Ohman’s assist off a corner with 3:40 to play as the Mustangs (5-1) beat the Golden Trojans (3-3) at Waterboro.

Massabesic outshot the Trojans 13-2, forcing Abbey Siulinski to make 11 saves and Lauren Boissonnault one defensive save.

NOBLE 5, MCAULEY 0: Marissa Goodrich scored four goals as the Knights (1-5) beat the Lions (0-7) at Portland.

Katie Taylor also scored, and Ibby Terry and Alaina Storey had assists.

WESTBROOK 3, WINDHAM 0: Ally Lemay scored twice, and Danielle Richards had a goal and an assist as the Blue Blazes (4-2) downed Windham (1-5) at Westbrook.

Sarah Hopkins assisted on two goals and Micaela Labeau had one assist.

MT. VIEW 4, MORSE 0: Andrea Smith, Brittany Masessa and Braley Leadbetter had first-half goals, and Kyrstyn Keating scored in the second half as the Mustangs (5-2) beat the Shipbuilders (0-6) at Bath.

GARDINER 4, CAMDEN HILLS 0: Nickyia Lovely scored twice as the Tigers (5-1) downed Camden Hills (2-4) at Waterville.
