Although we live in Yarmouth, we frequently drive to Falmouth and take the bus to Portland. We park at the shopping center – so much easier for us than driving into town. My husband, like a growing number of seniors, has low vision and cannot drive. Therefore, the bus is vital to him and to many others who no longer drive. As out-of-towners, we cannot vote, but we are very much in favor of keeping the bus service.

We hope that Falmouth residents will understand how important this service is to senior citizens and will vote in favor of keeping the Falmouth bus route. Vote no to save the bus. Public transportation is the way to go.
