I’m writing to urge voters to support Jim Cassida and Melanie Sachs for Freeport Town Council. Jim, who is running for the District 4 seat, brings to the table decades of experience in environmental issues and law. I’ve served with him on the council this last year. I’ve been impressed with how much time and effort he devotes to the people of Freeport. Jim has an understanding of complex, tough issues and has helped guide the Council toward well-reasoned solutions.
Melanie is running for the at-large seat. She’s energetic and will bring a fresh perspective to the council. Like Jim, she has devoted countless hours to making Freeport a better place.
I hope Freeport residents will join me in supporting Jim and Melanie in the Nov. 6 election.
