BRUNSWICK — David Coulombe of 12 Stone Street died Thursday, October 11, 2012 after a short illness. He was born in Brunswick, Maine on November 11, 1934 the son of Harvey and Simonne Coulombe. He attended Brunswick High School and worked until his retirement at Eastland Shoe in Freeport, Maine. He was a giant teddy bear, with a big heart, quick smile and enough happiness to spread around the world. His many loves included his family, cats, flowers, shopping, puzzles, old movies and spaghetti and meatballs. He will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his brother Donald Coulombe and his wife Alice of Pownal, Maine, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

He is predeceased by his sister’s Jeannine Coulombe who died March 11, 2012 and Connie Mathison who died December 17, 2011.

As per his request there won’t be any visiting hours or a funeral service. A mass will be said in his honor at St. John’s Church in Brunswick. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer, My God is my Rock in Whom I take Refuge. Psalms 18:2.
