BATH — The Hyde School boys cross team was dominant in placing four runners in the top seven spots, and continued their winning ways with a Saturday victory over Seacoast and Kents Hill.

Hyde had 25 points, Seacoast 43 and Kents Hill 63.

Hyde was led by Cody Mitchell and Isaac Preston, both crossing the finish line in 16:10 on the 2.96 mile course.

The real story continues to be the tenacious effort of the Hyde pack. Austin Wang (16:49), Talin Rowe (17:12) and Griffin Palola (17:19) helped seal the win.

Seacoast competitor Isaac LaCroix led all runners with a time of 15:55.

In the girls meet, Kents Hill narrowly defeated Seacoast 27-30 in girls cross country action. Led by freshman runner Anne McKee, who finished with a personal-best time of 17:37, the Huskies place three runners in the top four to narrowly edge the Guardians.
