THE RIBBON WAS CUT MONDAY on the new Androscoggin Brunswick-Topsham Riverwalk. From left, Yvonne G. Drolett of Topsham, Romain Savoie of Brunswick and Lucie Jean Brillant of Litchfield cut the ribbon while project co-chairperson Nancy E. Randolph watches. The 1.25-mile trail loops along the Topsham and Brunswick shore of the Androscoggin River between the Frank J. Wood “Green” Bridge and the Swinging Bridge. Future stages will extend and upgrade the trail along Mill Street adjacent to Fort Andross in Brunswick and create an overlook site at the Priority Business Center in Topsham.
