I write to support Mary Nelson for state representative. Mary’s energy, knowledge and experience are irreplaceable assets in representing Falmouth and District 112. Mary has expertise in the fields of education, the environment and business. She has shown herself to be a leader who is able to reach across party and ideological lines with people of good faith to move Maine forward in these difficult times based on a scientific and pragmatic approach. Mary has done a particularly good job expressing our district’s progressive yet pragmatic values. While I respect Mary’s opponent for his intellect and energy, this is no time to experiment with inexperience combined with a radical “Ron Paul” approach to government. Our current governor’s radical approaches have caused Maine to remain in a recession and lag behind other states in recovery.
