L.L.Bean’s Bootmobile was joined by the legendary Oscar Myer “Wienermobile” in Freeport recently.
Volunteers from the Freeport Gridiron Club installed the school’s new football scoreboard at the Pownal Road field recently. The board was up and running in time for the last home game of the year.  
It is the sign on the outside of the Durham Fire Station. Not surprisingly, Durham Fire Chief William St. Michel was able to identify the location of the photo.

Emily Olsen, 7, a second-grader at Freeport’s Morse Street School, recently won the children’s giant pumpkin-growing contest at the Cumberland Fair. Olsen poses with her prized pumpkin with her dad, Kirk Olsen.
