Musical stars perform this Friday night in a live telethon fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The show will be aired by NBC Universal broadcast and cable channels from 8 to 9 p.m., with a tape delay for the West Coast.

Called “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together,” the show will feature a star-studded line-up including Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting and Christina Aguilera.

Matt Lauer, co-host of the “Today Show,” will host the fundraiser, which will feature appearances by comedian Jimmy Fallon and “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams. NBC Universal said all money raised will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Stations broadcasting the telethon include NBC, Bravo, CNBC, USA, MSNBC and E!
