Suzanne resided in West Bath with her husband Norman Robshaw who she married in July 2005. Suzanne passed away at Winship Green on Nov 1, 2012 surrounded by family and friends after a long illness.
Educated in Georgetown and Bath schools and graduated in 1983 from Morse High and went on to graduate from USM in Augusta as an R.N. As a young girl she excelled in sports and won many awards for softball, field hockey and basketball. She enjoyed camping and motorcycling and gardening as well as seeing her grandchildren often.
She leaves her husband Norman of West Bath and her mother Judy and stepfather Joe Marquis of San Antonio, TX, her sister Marie Esperiqueta and husband Dan and nieces Brianna & Danielle of San Antonio, TX, her step daughters Ashley Garnet & husband Greg of Georgetown and Melissa Baker of Phippsburg and step grandchildren Christa, Arron, Aly, Hanna-Abby, Jena & Tyler. Also, step sister Jennifer Currie and husband Alex of Yarmouth. Step brothers, Jon Marquis, wife Melissa & daughter Gracie Elle of Bath, and Joel Marquis of South Portland. Also, friends of many years and family members who loved her very much. She will be missed greatly.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday Nov 6 from 11-12 pm at David E Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St, Bath. With a service to follow immediately at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mountainside Cemetery in Georgetown. She will rest in peace forever with her Father Paul Kurt Hecht and Grandmother Kathryn Hecht.
