BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS joined veterans and Brunswick High School Alumni Association members to honor American war dead recently. The alumni group memorializes military casualties twice a year by placing a memorial wreath at Memorial Rock, on the Fourth of July and Christmas. Cheerleaders invited members of American Legion Post 20 of Brunswick to honor American veterans, according to Tammy Klemanski, the varsity cheer coach for Brunswick High School. Memorial Rock has been a fixture at Brunswick High School since the 1950s.
