Would it be wrong to hope that a letter to the editor actually was verified to have been written by the person whose name and town are listed beneath it? Last week, The Forecaster published a letter that people seem to think was written by me because there appears to be no one else listed in town with the same name. So, for the record, I am a lifelong voter. I am for all committed, loving couples in Maine being able to marry (as is my wife who has been with me for over 30 years). And I am still hoping for verification.
