HARPSWELL — The Islands Community Church on Bailey Island has announced its guest speakers for the month. On Sunday, the Rev. Marc Boutan will preach during the 9:30 a.m. service.
The church is non-denominational and based on the teachings of the Bible. The church is led by a board that invites ordained ministers, lay people and chaplains to celebrate the service. Outreach and community service are important aspects of the church mission. Communion is offered monthly on the first Sunday.
Also scheduled to preach this month are the Rev. Elizabeth Peterson on Jan. 13, Gayle Hays on Jan. 20 to mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and the Rev. Marc Boutan on Jan. 27.
