PORTLAND — Police are investigating an armed robbery in Bayside where two men escaped with money, prescription drugs and video game equipment.

At about 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, police responded to a report that the men had forced their way into an apartment at Bayside Village, 132 Marginal Way. Police said the men reportedly entered the building concealing a shotgun and a handgun, walked directly to the apartment, and threatened the residents with the weapons while demanding money and drugs.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

The suspects are white men in their late teens or early 20s, according to police. One is described as between approximately 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall, wearing a blue-and-black ski parka, and carrying a yellow-and-blue snowboard bag. The other suspect is between approximately 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt under a black hooded jacket, and carrying a brown-and-black backpack.
