ALNA — The Alna Store on Route 218 has been burglarized, the Lincoln County Sheriff ’s Office reported Wednesday.

According to Lt. Michael Murphy, entry had been made by breaking out the window on the front door some time after the business was closed up, at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Several items of merchandise were stolen. The estimated value of property, stolen and damaged, is less than $1,000, he said.

A description of stolen items is not being released due to the current investigation. Anyone having information concerning the case is asked to contact 882-7332.
