PORTLAND — A woman found dead in a vehicle at a motel Thursday afternoon has been identified as Margarita Fisenko Scott, 29, of Westbrook.
After an autopsy by the state medical examiner, police said Scott’s death was a homicide, the first in the city this year. The cause of death was not released.
Scott’s body was discovered Jan. 17 at about 3:30 p.m. in the vehicle, parked in a lot at Motel 6, 1 Riverside St., near the Westbrook border.
Anyone with information or who had recent contact with Scott was asked to call police at 874-8604.
