The Rev. Canon James Herbert Davis died on Jan. 25, 2013 in Sanford, following a lengthy illness. He was 84 years old. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 5-7 p.m. at the Autumn Green Funeral Home, 47 Oak St. in Alfred. A memorial Mass will be held at Trinity Anglican Church (Pro-Cathedral) 180 Rochester Hill in Rochester, N.H., on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Bishop Brian Marsh presiding, The Rev. Owen Williams is rector. Memorial contributions in Fr. Jim’s memory may be made to Nashotah House Seminary in Nashotah, Wis. or to the Trinity Anglican Church in Rochester, N.H. The Autumn Green Funeral Home is respectfully handling arrangements.

Anne MacDougall Emmons of Scarborough passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 25, surrounded by her loving family and compassionate caregivers at Piper Shores. A service will be held in honor of Anne on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at the Union Church in Biddeford Pool. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s memory may be given to Comfort Keepers or to a favorite charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by the Hobbs Funeral Home, South Portland.
