Following injuries to goalies Chad Johnson and Mark Visentin, rookie goalie Louis Domingue has been called up from the Gwinnett Gladiators to join the Portland Pirates.

Rookie goalie Mike Lee replaced Johnson at the start of the second period Friday night after the veteran goalie was injured during the first period of 4-1 loss to the Connecticut Whale in Hartford.

In 26 games with Gwinnett, Domingue has posted a 15-8-1-1 with 2 shutouts, a 2.86 goals against average and a .898 saves percentage.
